Grant J. Keating
Grant Keating is the Managing Partner of the firm and a business litigator focused on achieving practical, efficient results for companies, property owners, and business principals facing complex disputes. He represents clients in high-stakes commercial matters where financial exposure, operational control, and business relationships are on the line.
Grant’s practice spans all phases of commercial litigation, including disputes involving commercial leases, real estate transactions, construction projects, environmental liability, commercial foreclosures and closely held business conflicts. He regularly handles business owner and shareholder disputes, receiverships, and litigation arising from failed or distressed ventures, with an emphasis on protecting assets and positioning clients for favorable resolution.
He has substantial experience litigating matters in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and on appeal. Grant is also experienced in extraordinary writ practice, allowing him to pursue immediate relief when time-sensitive issues require decisive court intervention.
Grant brings a disciplined, business-first perspective to litigation strategy, aligning legal advocacy with his clients’ broader operational and financial objectives. His approach is results-oriented and pragmatic, focused not only on winning disputes, but on delivering outcomes that make business sense. Grant joined Dworken & Bernstein in 2007 after obtaining his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in litigation from Case Western Reserve University in 2005. His undergraduate education was completed in 2001 at Ithaca College where he received a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology and co-authored and presented studies on juror member decision-making to the American Psychological Association.
