USA TODAY PAYBACK: Arista Records will pay more than $400,000 to people who bought Milli Vanilli recordings or went to concerts believing lip-syncing Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan were actually singing, under a settlement approved by a judge in Chicago Tuesday. Arista will refund $1 on singles, $2 on cassettes and LPs and $3 on CDs to consumers with a bar code from the merchandise, and 5% on concert tickets bought before Nov. 27, 1990.
